Jiahao Tian
Hi! My name is Jiahao (Ethan) Tian. I am an undergraduate student majoring in Statistics at the School of Mathematical Sciences, Zhejiang University.
My research interests center on high-dimensional statistical inference and uncertainty quantification. I am particularly interested in developing reliable statistical methods for modern data settings involving high dimensionality, heavy-tailed distributions, model misspecification, and distribution shift. I am also interested in using mathematical tools to understand statistical phenomena and in connecting statistical theory with practical computation through optimization. Beyond methodological and theoretical questions, I also care about translating statistical methods into practical applications, particularly in biomedical data analysis.
